Mike Crain began pursuing a career in auto repair and modification in high school. His junior and senior years were immersed in the craft. Recognized as having a strong aptitude for mechanics he was encouraged to take his training to the next level by enrolling at Northern Michigan University where, at the end of three years of training, he received ASE certifications in all aspects of auto and body repair.

Mike worked as a mechanic and body man from 1987 to 1996 until he was enticed into another industry by the promise of better benefits for his growing family. In 1996 Mike joined Intel Corporation. Intel is best known as the largest microchip manufacturer on the planet. Mike eventually became a senior Gamma Etch technician responsible for maintaining multi-million dollar tool fleets. Mike left Intel in 2010 to chase his dream of owning and operating a professionally equipped auto/fabrication shop.

Now Mike is unleashing his knowledge by offering automotive enthusiasts safe, high quality, custom built, Super Step Side sport trucks as well as full automotive service, fabrication and towing.
